Everyone on the planet blacks out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds and sees 6 months into the future -- it was a premise that lured viewers in, yet those finicky Nielsen viewers didn't exactly flock to the exciting sci-fi series.
When the series was first introduced, it was being touted as the Lost fans answer to the absence of the show. FlashForward was supposed to help fill that void Lost would leave for the millions of sci-fi fans preparing to grieve their beloved show. Those who saw the series through to the end were treated to loads of shocking twists and turns in each thrilling episode. Sadly, it just wasn't meant to be.
FlashForward may have been canceled, but it will live on forever on DVD... Find out what goodies (and there are plenty) viewers can expect on the DVD and whether or not we feel it's worth your hard-earned cash.

On the big screen, he plays vampire Jasper Hale in the Twilight saga, but Jackson Rathbone is heading to a small screen in a living room near you this fall.
EW reports that the Twilight star is set to appear in at least one episode of ABC's promising new series No Ordinary Family. Rathbone's character is named Trent Stafford, a classmate of Daphne's (Kay Panabaker), who was a victim of a home invasion. The Powell family will use their abilities to help solve the crime and save the day.
My guess is there will be some chemistry between Trent and Daphne, possibly opening the door for Rathbone to appear on a recurring basis should the series survive the fall.
No Ordinary Family premieres on September 28 and after watching the first episode, I am already a fan of the show!

The Emmys have arrived! Did your favorites take home the gold? Which television star rocked the red carpet best?
As much as I loved Neil Patrick Harris as host last year, I have to say that Jimmy Fallon was every bit as entertaining as NPH. The skits (especially the opening skit) were hilarious, and I loved his musical tributes to 24 and Lost.
After winning the Emmy for best male actor in a drama series three years in a row, Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston has become the man to beat next year -- can Hugh Laurie, Jon Hamm or Michael C. Hall finally beat him? Will a new actor emerge as the next big leading man this year?
Find out who won in all of the major drama categories and be sure to take a peek at all of the photos of your favorite TV stars as they walked the red carpet...

Two catch the bad guys and keep the streets safe, one lives for football, one makes enemies on a daily basis, another is living back in the '60s, while the other has had to pull her life together after her husband was involved in a very public sex scandal -- and all of them are going after the ultimate prize!
Like the leading men, three of these ladies have become perennial Emmy nominees, but three lovely new ladies have entered the race, making the competition harder than ever this year...
Who do I think should win?: Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights) or Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife). After being snubbed year after year for her excellent work on the football drama, it would be nice to see someone off the beaten path win for a change. I jumped on The Good Wife bandwagon in repeats this summer and have been consistently entertained by this incredibly compelling drama, so I'd also love to see Margulies take home the gold for her amazing work.
Who do I think will win?: Julianna Margulies. It's hard to argue when you have a 7-time Emmy nominee (1 win) and 7-time Golden Globe nominee (1 win) - this leading lady is a consummate professional and has been an awards show sweetheart since the '90s.

One makes meth to support his family, one is a forensic expert by day and a serial killer by night, while another has traveled backwards, forwards and sideways -- which leading man is going to take home the gold this Sunday?
Two years in a row, almost all of the same men were nominated for best actor in a drama series, but this year Matthew Fox (Lost) and Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights) have joined the race. Six extraordinary men are vying for the ultimate title and it's anyone's guess as to who will come out on top.
Who do I think should win?: Matthew Fox. We knew back in the Party of Five days that this man had some serious acting chops, and he set the bar for his fellow castmates during his six years on Lost. While I love Bryan Cranston and Jon Hamm, I'd really love to see Fox get what he deserves now that the series has come to an end.
Who do I think will win?: Michael C. Hall. It's hard to argue the spectacular character Hall plays on Dexter -- he deserves the win every bit as much as the rest of the pack.

The primetime Emmy award is considered the highest honor in television and this year's nominees truly represent the best of the best in drama. Attempting to predict which series will take home the gold is harder than ever this year...
Over the last couple of years, Mad Men has become the new Sopranos and while many feel they will walk away a winner again this year, I can't help but wonder if Lost will finally get that well-deserved win now that the series has come to a close. However, we have to remember that the other nominees have consistently brought their A game week after week this year. For the first time, I honestly can't decide which series offered fans better drama than the others this past season.
Who do I think should win?: Lost, hands down. This series was unlike anything we've ever seen or probably ever will see and for that alone, the show deserves to win.
Who do I think will win?: Mad Men or Dexter. These series seem to be the Emmy darlings year after year and in the past, Emmy voters stick with the same nominees.
Of course there's always the chance that the voters have gone completely rogue and picked True Blood as the winner. Is it wrong that I would secretly enjoy that turn of events? It's so rare that a sci-fi series earns a nomination in a major category.

One of the Luthor men will return to Smallville this season and even though it may not be Lex, we'll happily settle for Lionel Luthor!
Although he plummeted to his death (courtesy of his son) at the end of season 7, EW reports that John Glover is returning to the show for several episodes during November sweeps.
As Smallville heads into their tenth and final season, fans can expect TPTB to pull out all the stops to bring back some of the shows most popular characters. In addition to Lionel's return, the show is also bringing back John Schneider as Jonathan Kent, Laura Vandervoort as Kara and James Marsters as the always evil Brainiac.
Could Lionel's return possibly bring Lex back to the canvas? I've got my fingers and toes crossed. I can't possibly imagine the show ending without one last showdown between Lex and Clark.

He's gone Back to the Future and even scored a spot on the basketball team despite the fact that he was a werewolf, but Michael J. Fox is about to meet his match when he goes head-to-head in the courtroom with Alicia Florrick when he appears on The Good Wife this fall.
CBS announced that the five-time Emmy Award winner will play Simon Canning, a shrewd attorney representing a big pharmaceutical company in a class action lawsuit. Canning will stop at nothing to defend his client -- even if it means using his neurological issues (Fox himself suffers from Parkinson's Disease) to gain sympathy from the judge and jury.
"We're absolutely thrilled that Michael has agreed to play this role," said executive producers and show creators Robert and Michelle King. "His intelligence as an actor, combined with his incredible comic timing will really bring this smart, cynical lawyer to life."

After testing the waters with a gay storyline involving Adrianna, 90210 is diving into the deep end when the show returns next month.
A rumor started weeks ago that one of the 4 main male characters would come out of the closet and the speculation began. All it took was a Tweet from Trevor Donovan (and a confirmation from EW) to come to the obvious conclusion that Teddy is the lucky recipient.
Last season, Adrianna was gay/bi-curious for about 5 minutes before realizing she wanted to be with boys again. Producers promise that this storyline will completely explore this avenue.
Season 3 of 90210 premieres on September 13.
What do you think about this upcoming storyline? Sound off below...

Even back in the days of the original Beverly Hills 90210, TV dramas catering to a younger demographic have focused on serious issues teens face on a daily basis. From drugs and suicide to gangs and eating disorders, these dramas do their best to accurately portray what really goes on with teens and young adults today.
ABC Family's drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager dives right into the center of this complicated world, which heavily deals with the issue of teen pregnancy from every possible angle (this show should be required viewing for teens and their parents).
We fell in love with him as Ben on Secret Life and we'll soon be able to catch him on ABC's Castle this fall -- I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with series star Ken Baumann, whose character Ben was deeply involved with a girl who was pregnant with another guy's baby and then manages to get another girl pregnant the first time he has sex.
During my delightful chat with this dynamic actor, I asked about the popular series, exotic animals, celebrity encounters, and important issues teens face today...
