The Fallen is a Christian Rock band out of St. Louis that has just released an amazing self-titled album. Kyle Torrence (lead vox/guitar), Drew Keirsey (bass/vox), Jerrick Myers (lead guitar/keys) and Zech Shoults (drums) say that they realized a long time ago that God is something to be shared - not stuck in a box and kept on a shelf. Their music is how they share their Savior and their faith and with lyrics that are as personal as they are passionate and an alt rock sound that delivers a sound that rings true to all age groups, these young men are hitting all of the right notes.

Since the first Dove Awards were handed out in 1969, the annual ceremony has been held in Nashville, Tennessee. At this year's awards, held at the Grand Ole Opry House, there was no hint that change was coming. However, the Gospel Music Association has announced that the Dove Awards will move to Atlanta, Georgia, home of the Gospel Music Channel, for 2011. The 2011 Dove Awards will be held in Atlanta's historic and fabulous Fox Theatre on April 20, 2011. The GMA is working with the city of Atlanta to make sure that Dove Award activities will take place in close proximity to the Fox Theatre, to create an intimate atmosphere for attendees, artists and industry VIPs.

After wrapping up their 25th Anniversary World Tour earlier this year, Stryper didn't go on vacation or take a break. Instead, the rockers headed to the studio to record their upcoming October release, The Covering.
A collection of cover songs from bands that inspired them and helped to shape their sound and musical identity, The Covering is different from any previous Stryper release. Look for tunes from Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Kansas and Led Zeppelin, among others and listen for a single release of Black Sabbath's hit "Heaven and Hell."
If you want a sneak peak, check out Michael Sweet's Twitter and you can grab the address to hear the clips.

Chances are really good that you've heard Josh Wilson's "Before the Morning" and "Savior Please" especially since "Before the Morning" has been in the Top 10 for the past 10 weeks. The question here is - have you heard the rest of his self-titled album? (Purchase/Download) With fan favorites from Trying to Fit the Ocean in a Cup and Life Is Not a Snapshot, it's hard to pick a fave, but easy to see how he has gotten so popular over the past few years. His music is upbeat, deep, sometimes quirky and definitely comfortable. He is a born story teller who draws you into his world, his faith and his walk.
